Abraham Wood, Boars Hill Green Space Volunteering with Abingdon Green Gym

Venue: Abraham Wood, accessed via Old Berkeley Golf Course.

Abingdon Green Gym will lead this weekend task and they welcome any extra pairs of hands.

Activities will mainly include pulling the non-native Small Balsam, there may be some additional cutting back / removing hard rush from the runnel on the golf course to continue helping the ivy-leaved crowfoot to flourish. 

Meet at 9.30am: AGG meet in the layby outside the Perking University buildings along Berkeley Road, Boars Hill, map link.

Buses: X1 from Oxford Centre to the top of Hinksey Hill, c. 30 minute walk from there.

Parking: Free on street parking on Berkeley Road.

Please bring your own gardening gloves, hydrating drink (hot & cold), a snack and sturdy shoes/boots, suitable weather-related layers.

No experience necessary. Tools will be provided. Nearest toilets are at local pubs.
