The market is held twice monthly in North Parade Avenue, which has a wonderful diversity of architectural styles.

The North Parade Market fills the street, which was pedestrianised fairly recently. The street itself has a fascinating mixture of residential houses and flats, as well as a variety of food and non-food shops, coffee bars, a restaurant, two pubs and a wine bar. 

The market generates a large number of visitors who come for the wide range of food and non-food stalls, and to enjoy the music that is provided.
