Join us with wall paintings expert Kathy Davies in the special setting of the Painted Room for this talk about vernacular wall paintings giving us an insight into the materials, craft, and techniques behind the historic wall paintings in our own Painted Room at 3 Cornmarket. Kathy will delve into the pigments and binding agents available in the 16th century and the methods used to achieve these intricate designs.
