A Lasting Legacy

“Leaving a legacy is an easy way to help ensure that the heritage and setting of Oxford continues to be stewarded for future generations. OPT is a small organisation and every penny counts for an independent voice that punches above its weight for the evolving interests of our city." from one of our supporters who has pledged a gift in their Will.

Funding the future.  By leaving a gift in your Will you can be certain that we can continue our work ensuring that the best of Oxford lives on to inspire future generations.

Wherever you are in Oxford you are never far away from the influence of Oxford Preservation Trust whether it be our land, planning or project work.

We were founded over 90 years ago and today our original focus remains the same, to preserve and enhance the City of Oxford and its special green setting.

We are lucky enough to care for 1,000 acres of land which  we actively conserve to protect Oxford views, maintain its rural nature and share it with all.

Without us, some of the best of Oxford's rich and varied history would be lost including Oxford Castle, our row of 17th century cottages in St Ebbe's, the Railway Swing Bridge and the Painted Room with its links to Shakespeare and Betjeman.

Remembering us in your Will enables us to look after the City’s special places for everyone to enjoy both now and in the future.

Ensuring Oxford’s future

The Centenary Circle is our way of thanking you in your lifetime with invitations to special events such as our Chairman's Annual Garden Party, so you keep up to date with our work.

Leaving a legacy is an easy way to help ensure that the heritage and setting of Oxford continues to be stewarded for future generations.  OPT is a small organisation which relies on every penny to maintain an independent voice for Oxford that punches above its weight for the evolving interests of our City and setting.

Let us know

You will want to provide for your family and loved ones but a gift in your Will can be tax efficient, and whether large or small, will make a significant difference to the Oxford you love.  If you have kindly left a gift in your Will and would like to tell us about it I would be delighted to hear from you.
