Oxford Castle & Prison Walk - the archaeology of the Westgate and the Castle Quarter

David Radford, City Archaeologist, will lead a walk around the Westgate Centre and the Castle Quarter and talk about the challenges and results of two major archaeological excavations undertaken at these sites, which investigated the remains of the Late Saxon town, the medieval defences and the Franciscan Friary.

Free event - Walk starts outside St Ebbes Church in Penny Farthing Lane.
