Virtual event via Zoom

The first in a series of five virtual lectures which will explore the past, present, and future of Oxford's suburbs. At a time when the City is under pressure to develop we will look back to previous times of growth, pushing out at the edges towards the surrounding hills. We'll consider their impact and how the places they have created have become established communities with their own history to tell.

Don't miss joining local historian and former head of Oxfordshire studies Dr Malcolm Graham as he gives a talk entitled , 'Oxford expanded - the growth around the urban fringe'.
