Sheldonian Theatre - Sunday 15 September 10am - 5pm
Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the Sheldonian Theatre is the University's ceremonial hall and a popular event venue. Visit to enjoy a spectacular 360 degree view of Oxford from the cupola, and search for the hidden wren amongst the Emperor's Heads.
There will be 15-20 minute historical talks at 10.30, 11am and 11.30am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2pm and 2.30pm. No booking required.
The Pavolva Wind Quartet will close the Open Doors celebrations at the Sheldonian with a free classical recital at 4pm. The ensemble were formed, and are based in Oxford. No booking required.
