Re-image your local library!  Join us on Sunday at our open doors with a range of interactive experiences, programs and events.  Be surprised and delighted as you discover all that your library service offers.  Explore your library with fresh eyes.  Adults and children are welcome to explore, play and enjoy the atmosphere.

Gadget Help & Advice 1.30 – 3.30pm - Our digital helpers can help the bemused get the best out of your mobile devices.

Junior Code Club 9.30 – 10.30am - Children aged 9-13 years and their families are welcome to drop-in and experience Code Club and you can learn how to make cool games, animations and websites.       

 

Open House Music all day - Our digital piano will be open to players to perform with no headphones, customers to experience and explore playing in a library space. Maximum 30 minute sets or as little as 1 minute. Solo and duet play possible.

Open Keyboard will be available in the Children’s Library for children and families to perform, experience and explore keyboard playing, without headphones – except when there’s a storytime. 

 

Children’s Craft Storytime 2.30 -3.30pm - Come and meet author and library worker Cas Lester read stories and then lead a messy craft session. Suitable for children aged 4-11year and their parents.
