Ashmolean Museum Saturday 14 September 10am-5pm
The Ashmolean is the University of Oxford’s museum of art and archaeology, founded in 1683. Its world famous collections range from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art, telling human stories across cultures and across time.
The museum is open from 10am to 5pm. During Saturday you can join a Highlights Tour from 11am to 12 noon, or explore the sculptures of Ancient Greece and Rome in a Tour of the Cast Gallery from 2pm to 2.45pm. For both tours meet in Gallery 21 - no advance booking required.
