St Frideswide - Saturday 14 September - 10am to 4pm
The church is Victorian (built 1870-72) and is a Grade II* listed building. The architect was Samuel Teulon which contains the 'Alice Door': a wooden door carved by Alice Liddell (aka Alice in Wonderland) featuring St Frideswide in a boat leaving Port Meadow to found her nunnery in Oxford on the site of what is now Christ Church.
