Virtual event via Zoom Oxford Landscapes and Trees with Julian Munby - Wednesday 13 January, 5pm (virtual talk)
'Oxford Landscapes and Trees' with OPT Trustee and Heading of Buildings Archaeology at Oxford Archaeology, Julian Munby.
Oxford's surrounding landscape provides the setting for the historic city, and a number of key locations for views of the 'dreaming spires', but that landscape has greatly changed over time, not least in the proliferation of trees (and electricity pylons). While we all seek a greener environment, the demands of this historic setting perhaps call for a more flexible attitude to tree cover.
