Abraham Wood Conservation Work Party - Sat 19 Jan, 9.30am
Join us as we tidy up Abraham Wood before the bluebells flower in spring. Following recent work by contractors to clear invasive laurel, we will be creating brash fences to protect hazel coppice stools from deer browse.
All the conservation work parties start at 9.30am and finish at lunch time - come along for as long as you like. Hot drinks and biscuits are provided in a mid-morning break. There's always plenty to do to suit all ages and abilities, and no previous experience is necessary. Please wear stout shoes or wellies and old clothes, and bring gardening gloves if you have them as they will probably fit better than any we lend. Hand tools will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own. Contact Rachel for more information.
