We have a brilliant opportunity for someone to join the OPT team as our Assistant Heritage and Outreach Officer.
This exciting and varied post offers an unusually broad range of opportunities to gain heritage and outreach experience. You will work alongside the Director, Debbie Dance, and the OPT team taking an active role in all areas of our outreach work, including organising Oxford Open Doors, the UK’s most successful Heritage Open Days event. You will play a key role in further developing our education and outreach work ensuring public access and widening participation across our historic properties, green spaces and projects.
The OPT team is small and passionate about the work we do. We are proud of our forward-thinking approach, and contribution to Oxford’s environment and setting over nearly a century. We own and restore both landscapes and historic buildings and structures, preserving the best of the old and encouraging the best of the new, and are committed to sharing Oxford’s heritage with our members and the wider community.
This is a full-time office-based post, with flexibility to allow for continued professional development possible.
Salary: £19,000 - £24,000 per annum depending on experience.
Contract type; this is a 1 year temporary contract with the liklihood of renewal subject to funding.
