Now that 6 people can meet outdoors we are expecting to see increased use of our green spaces. We are therefore very grateful to the Peking University HSBC Business School who have agreed to provide temporary free weekend parking at Boars Hill (please follow the signs).
Open green space is essential for our health and wellbeing, and we are delighted that more people than ever are now out and about enjoying OPT land. With our commitment to the green agenda, OPT have no car parks, so why not take a cycle ride or a long walk. Help us to keep our environment, our wildlife and you safe by considering a visit outside likely peak times. All our green spaces are open.
This small woodland was acquired by OPT in two sections. A rectangular plot was bought in 1932; the reasons have not been documented. The second piece, a triangular section was kindly given to the Trust as a gift by Sir Arthur Evans in 1940.
