Wide, open pasture land with an important role to play in maintaining the landscape setting of Oxford and its dreaming spires

When in 2005 Chilswell Farm came on the market, OPT was able to acquire five more fields adjoining the Old Berkeley Golf Course, thanks to support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, local charitable trusts and some key individuals. It was important to secure the land and protect the landscape setting of Oxford and its dreaming spires.
