The Government has recently announced the abolition of Regional Spatial Strategies and the Regional Authorities, and OPT is taking an active interest in what will happen next. Oxfordshire is one of 24 areas which have been successful at first round in a bid to government for a Local Enterprise Partnership involving Oxfordshire County Council, the District Councils, the two Universities and local business interests looking at economic growth and housing.  OPT will endeavour to engage with the parties as their plans move forward.
