Oxford Preservation Trust has been a key sponsor in bringing the street gallery exhibition Britain from the Air to Oxford Castle Friday 24 June - 4 September.

Britain from the Air is an outdoor exhibition of more than 100 aerial photographs from the human and natural landscapes from across the country and has been developed by the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) and wecommunic8.

Oxford Preservation Trust has been delighted to select ten special photographs on an Oxford theme so that local visitors can see the everyday places and spaces that they know so well, and from a different perspective.

Go down to the Castle to have the chance to stroll the length and breadth of Britain on a huge walk on map which has been installed, and walk around the site to see the stunning large scale images which are now positioned around the Castle site.

An exciting range of Britain from the Air items will be available from Cafe 1071, Oxford Castle Unlocked. OPT members will receive a 10% discount in the shop but Membership Cards must be shown.

Britain from the Air
is open 24 hours a day free-of-charge,
and education resources will be available online.

The Trust is delighted to announce that Dr Gardner will be explaining the thoughts behind the exhibition in an OPT Talk on Tuesday 28 June. Book now
