Elizabeth Daryush Memorial Garden

A beautiful area of landscaped wildlife garden linking with other green spaces across Boars Hill

Here we find 5.44 acres of unimproved acid grassland, which is rare in Oxfordshire. This landscaped wildlife garden with a large ornamental pond is a memorial to the Bridges family and once part of the garden to Stockwell, the home of Ali Akbar and Elizabeth Daryush (daughter of the poet Robert Bridges). Ali Akbar Daryush bequeathed the house and garden to OPT in 1989.
